My Super Smash Bros Ultimate Predictions List.

This is my list of the characters I predict we will see playable in Smash Bros Ultimate. So here's why I chose these characters: 

1. Simon Belmont - He's a classic gaming icon from Nintendo's history and since Snake is back there's at least a chance that Konami is willing to co-operate with Nintendo for smash again, so Simon could make it in. 
2. Dark Samus - I think Dark Samus will be an echo fighter for Samus as we've not seen her assist trophy confirmed (yet). Nintendo is also really pushing Metroid more and since Prime 4 is coming in the future (although I doubt Dark Samus will return in it), they could make Dark Samus a playable fighter.
3. Galacta Knight - Kirby is Sakurai's baby. It would be very easy for Sakurai to throw a new Kirby character in as an echo fighter and Galacta Knight would be a cool addition. 
4. Rayman - He needs to be here at this point. He (along with Globox) was a trophy in Smash for Wii U. Nintendo and Ubisoft are still good friends so at this point Rayman seems like a given (BTW I also predict the Rabbids will be assist trophies or just an unlockable trophy). 
5. King K Rool - He's an iconic Nintendo villain who people have been begging to see become playable. Smash Ultimate really seems to be listening to the fans this time so K Rool is definitely a possibility. 
6. Decidueye - Considering how much Nintendo has pushed Sun & Moon I can't see them NOT adding in a new Pokémon rep (even if there's already tons in Smash Ultimate as is).
7. Spring Man - Much like the Inklings, Spring Man would make sense as he would represent a new IP Nintendo has been pushing a lot. Plus Arms is already a fighting game so it wouldn't be too hard to work him in.
8. Shadow the Hedgehog - Definitely an unlikely prediction but still a possibility. Shadow is also a highly requested character for Smash and since he can already do the spin-dash, homing attack and has a super form, I can see Shadow working as an echo fighter. 
9. Crash Bandicoot - The most unlikely one and my second most wanted one (first being Rayman). Crash is getting the N'Sane trilogy brought to the Switch. Plus let's be honest this game is going to need to top the immense Cloud reveal. Crash fighting Mario and Sonic would be a HUGE deal as he's one of the biggest icons in gaming history (bigger than the likes of Rayman and Simon). 
10. Rex (& maybe Pyra) - Don't know how they would work moveset-wise but a Xenoblade 2 character is absolutely going in. Xenoblade has become big for Nintendo and Nintendo has also been promoting a lot so yeah this seems like a logical prediction.

I should also mention that I chose characters that I felt would be a big deal for Smash and have at least a chance of being in, rather than just characters I want (which is why characters like Geno and Skull Kid aren't on this list).
